Terms & Conditions – AJ ONE Design
These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients, individuals, and businesses who enter into any form of agreement, contract, or service relationship with AJ ONE Design, regardless of the platform, marketplace, or method through which the agreement is made. This includes, but is not limited to, agreements made via email, online platforms, social media, invoices, proposals, written documents, or verbal confirmation. By signing an agreement, approving a proposal, or making any payment, the Client confirms full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
All websites created by AJ ONE Design are built exclusively on the Wix platform. The Client is required to create and maintain their own Wix account and grant AJ ONE Design collaborator access solely for the purpose of completing the agreed work. AJ ONE Design is responsible only for the visual design, layout, structure, and basic technical setup of the website within the Wix environment. This includes ensuring that the website functions properly and displays correctly on common screen sizes such as desktop, tablet, and mobile devices using Wix’s standard responsive tools. No custom coding, advanced development, backend systems, or technical services beyond Wix’s standard capabilities are included unless explicitly agreed in writing.
All hosting services, Wix subscription plans, domain registrations, email services, and third-party applications or integrations are selected and paid for directly by the Client to Wix or the relevant service provider. The Client is free to choose any plan or service level. AJ ONE Design has no responsibility for billing, pricing changes, plan limitations, service interruptions, or performance issues related to Wix or any third-party providers.
The Client acknowledges and agrees that all content used on the website, including but not limited to text, images, videos, logos, graphics, icons, and other media, is provided by the Client or sourced at the Client’s direction. The Client guarantees that all provided content is lawful, original, accurate, and that they hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use such content. The Client further guarantees that the content does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, intellectual property, or privacy rights. AJ ONE Design does not review, verify, or check the legality or ownership of any Client-provided content and assumes no responsibility for it.
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that the website complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to data protection and privacy laws such as GDPR (where applicable), ePrivacy regulations, consumer protection laws, advertising regulations, and any applicable local, national, or international legal requirements. This includes the responsibility to provide legally compliant privacy policies, cookie notices, consent mechanisms, terms of service, refund policies, disclaimers, and all required disclosures. AJ ONE Design does not provide legal advice and shall not be held responsible for the Client’s legal compliance.
Where the website includes third-party tools, plugins, applications, or integrations—such as Wix apps, payment processors, booking systems, analytics tools, or embedded services—the Client is fully responsible for ensuring that such tools comply with all applicable laws and regulations. AJ ONE Design is not liable for the performance, security, legality, availability, or future changes of any third-party services.
AJ ONE Design provides design and basic technical implementation services only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AJ ONE Design assumes no liability for any legal disputes, claims, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or expenses arising from the website content, its use, or its failure to comply with applicable laws. This includes, but is not limited to, claims related to copyright or intellectual property infringement, privacy or data protection violations, consumer disputes, or regulatory actions

The Client agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AJ ONE Design from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and legal expenses arising out of or related to the Client’s content, business activities, third-party services, or failure to comply with applicable laws.
All services and packages offered by AJ ONE Design are subject to the scope, pricing, revision limits, and delivery timelines agreed upon at the time of contract. A deposit of 50% is required before any work begins, with the remaining balance due prior to website publication, transfer, or handover. Website Care Plans are billed monthly in advance. Work will not commence until the required payment has been received. Any work requested outside the agreed scope will be quoted and billed separately.
Until full payment has been received, the website and all related design work remain the property of AJ ONE Design. Ownership and full access rights are transferred to the Client only after final payment has been completed. If the Client cancels the project after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. Website Care Plans require a minimum of 14 days’ notice for cancellation, and no refunds are issued for the current billing period.
Right to Refuse or Terminate a Project
AJ ONE Design reserves the absolute right to refuse, reject, or terminate any project at its sole discretion, at any stage, and without obligation to provide a reason or explanation. In the event that AJ ONE Design chooses to refuse or terminate a project under this clause, any deposit paid by the Client will be fully reimbursed, and neither party shall have any further obligations toward the other.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
AJ ONE Design retains all rights to its design methods, creative processes, layouts, templates, and professional know-how. Upon full payment, the Client is granted the right to use the completed website for its intended purpose. AJ ONE Design reserves the right to display completed projects in its portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any unauthorized copying, reproduction, resale, redistribution, or reuse of AJ ONE Design’s work without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
AJ ONE Design reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version shall apply to all existing and future contracts unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In summary, AJ ONE Design designs and builds the website within the Wix platform, while the Client remains fully responsible for content, legal compliance, and all business-related obligations.
1. Platform & Setup All websites are built exclusively on Wix. The Client must register their own Wix account and add AJ ONE Design as a collaborator. AJ ONE Design is responsible only for design, layout, and technical setup of the website. Hosting, Wix plans, domain registration, and third-party apps are paid directly by the Client to Wix, who chooses the plan freely.
2. Client Legal Responsibilities & Compliance The Client acknowledges and agrees that: Content Responsibility All text, images, videos, logos, and other media provided to AJ ONE Design are supplied by the Client. The Client guarantees that all content is lawful, original, and does not infringe any thirdparty rights, including copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. AJ ONE Design is not responsible for checking or verifying the legality of any content supplied by the Client.
Privacy, GDPR & Data Protection
The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that the website complies with all applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to GDPR (if applicable), ePrivacy regulations, and local privacy requirements. This includes implementing any required privacy policies, cookie consent banners, user consent mechanisms, or data collection disclosures.
Legal Compliance & Local Laws
The Client must ensure the website meets all relevant local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards. AJ ONE Design is not responsible for legal compliance regarding sales, services, or content published on the website.
Third-Party Tools & Integrations
The Client is responsible for ensuring that any third-party apps, plugins, or services integrated into the website (e.g., Wix apps, payment processors, embedded tools) comply with all legal requirements. AJ ONE Design is not liable for third-party software or services.
Liability Disclaimer
AJ ONE Design provides design and technical implementation services only.
AJ ONE Design assumes no liability for: Legal disputes arising from website content Copyright or intellectual property infringement Privacy, GDPR, or other regulatory violations Any fines, penalties, or claims related to website content Client Indemnification
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AJ ONE Design from any claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising from the website content or its non-compliance with applicable laws.
In short: AJ ONE Design designs and builds the site. The Client is responsible for content legality, compliance, and any legal obligations.
